Our story since 2019

Born from a craving for real tea in Florida heat

Bobberu started as a tiny 300-sq-ft kiosk with one sealer machine and a family recipe for slow-cooked brown sugar pearls. Founder Maya Tran missed Taipei night-market boba after moving to The Villages to be near her parents — so she built it herself.

Today we're the community living room: morning mahjong clubs, post-golf matcha breaks, teen study sessions, date nights and Sunday line-dancing fuel. We brew loose-leaf jasmine, Assam and high-mountain oolong every 3 hours. Pearls are cooked in small batches with Okinawa black sugar — never syrup from a jug, never powder.

Yes! Monk-fruit sweetener, oat/almond/coconut milks, and unsweetened real-fruit teas at 0-30-50-70-100% sugar.

Are pearls gluten-free? Halal?

Tapioca pearls are gluten-free and halal. Mochi donuts contain wheat — ask for rice-cake alternative.
